What are the main projects of the future association?

• Establishing warehouses (cooling and freezing) that can store 3200 tons up to 10,000 tons for dual purposes on the association’s land in Badrashin (An area of ​​5 acres) and a feasibility study was assigned to the Faculty of Engineering, Cairo University.
• Increasing the storage capacity of the association existing refrigerators (Damanhour, Tawila, and Minya) in light of the increased demand for storage.
• Replacement and refurbishment of the cooling devices of the association’s refrigerator in Kafr El-Zayat in Beheira Governorate.
• Replacement and refurbishment of cooling devices of the association’s refrigerator in Shatanof, Monofeya Governorate.
• Replacement and refurbishment of cooling devices of the association’s refrigerator in Al-Shobak, Giza Governorate.
• Providing potato seeds by importing from abroad and importing new varieties and testing them for the suitability of cultivation under the Egyptian climate conditions.
• Providing other production requirements as pesticides, fertilizers, chemicals and devices to meet the needs for potato growers in the governorates and to provide packing materials for the governorates.
• The association is in the process of producing potato seeds by tissue culture method through a tissue culture project and looks forward to the Ministry of Agriculture’s assistance and participation in setting up a factory, a greenhouse, and a refrigerator in Badrashin, Giza.
